Tumi Ishi Balancing Stones Arctic. LT-10

Balancing stones Tumi ishi Arctic is made of carefully grown and slowly dried linden wood, coated with safe, water-based paints. When you take the piece in your hand, you will see that the texture of natural wood shows though the paint. The unique and beautiful feature of all the toys is the  velvety-rough surface, perfect for stacking and balancing. This finish is acquired by the use of a non toxic water based colour stain, which penetrates into the wood leaving a rich matte finish thus preserving the natural qualities and natural markings of each unique piece of wood.  Inspired by ancient Japanese game Tumi ishi it teaches balance and hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, observation, logic and inspires creativity. Set consists of 10 stones of different shapes and arctic colours. Each stone is unique. This toy is carved and painted by hand in our manufacture in Ukraine.
